☆ SOBRE O LANÇAMENTO ☆A história do lançamento do debut do HY!PER trilha um longo caminho, desde novembro de 2019, que era a data original de lançamento. O debut sofreu um atraso de 3 meses devido a um processo judicial que foi movido contra a empresa Arcade Records (gestora do grupo). Não se sabe qual foi a ação, porém sabe-se que teoricamente a Arcade ganhou, pois o processo foi indeferido judicialmente. Mas após todos estes problemas, sem nenhum aviso prévio, alguns teasers misteriosos nomeados "!1" e "!2" foram postados no canal oficial do HY!PER, e logo depois veio o highlight medley do mini-album, e o teaser do MV da title track RUN.
☆ SOBRE O MINI-ÁLBUM☆R U READY? tem 6 faixas, e já é anunciado que 3 delas serão usadas como divulgação do grupo. RUN é a faixa principal, porém Cherry Bullet é a faixa secundária e HYPE! é uma faixa especial de dança. Todos os álbuns do HY!PER irão seguir este mesmo esquema, e conter uma dance-track especial no final. A sonoridade do álbum não se detem ao 8-bit, como se esperva, mesmo tendo elementos presentes, o disco corre por vertentes do color pop, beirando um aegyo. Todas as faixas são bem animadas, com exceção de Nah Nah, que é um ponto mais calmo do álbum. Os temas das faixas são individuais, que se ligam pelo conceito da obra, como comum no Kpop, mas em sí, a sonoridade se mantem fresh e comercial, casando com o conceito visual do HY!PER.

A introdução do álbum é um batidão 8-bits feito por Apollyon. A intro tem basicamente a estrutura de uma música normal, com espaço de refrões e versos, apenas em os vocais. As batidas bem agudas muti características de vídeo-games antigos estão presentes na música toda, e se intensificam bastante no drop com o dobro de BPM no final da faixa.

A terceira faixa do disco é a sub-title "Cherry Bullet". Ela segue a vibe animada de RUN com um color pop que se aproxima de um aegyo-fundo-do-coração. O instrumental tem como base um violão sintetizado, com outros sintetizadores estruturando, mas o destaque é o sintetizador da base do refrão, como se crescesse e diminuísse constantemente ao passar do refrão. A letra fala de se apaixonar, mas principalmente de arrumar tempo para lidar com essa paixão. Cross your heart like a Cherry Bullet.

Navillera puxa a cota tropical do disco. A faixa é completamente animada, com vocais divertidos e fortes. "Navillera" não tem uma tradução muito específica, mas a palavra faz referencia ao livro francês "The Butterfly of the Stars". A tradução adaptada de Navillera seria "como uma borboleta". Na música as garotas cantam sobre liberdade e amizade, sobre como ter por perto pessoas que te fazem sentir livre é incrível.

A penúltima faixa é a mais "calma" do disco. Nah Nah ainda com toque eletrônico, traz um som mais calmo, mostrando outro lado do HY!PER. Na verdade, a letra da música é bem melancólida. Fala sobre se sentir perdido e desamparado enquanto está ficando mais velho; simplesmente perdendo coisas que costumavam ser tão importantes, para dar espaço a coisas que não fazem bem, mas são necessárias.

A última faixa do disco é a tão aguardada dance-track. A faixa é somente instrumental, porém fala por si só. O instrumental eletrônico 8-bit animado começa tranquilo, mas logo pega embalo, e começa a adquirir elementos eletrônicos cada vez mais pesados, ao som da pergunta "R U READY?", até estourar em um drop de doubstep, tudo produzido por Apollyon. Apollyon já tem experiencia com a sonoridade pois já trabalhou em trilhas sonoras de jogos indie 16-bits, então toda sua maestria foi colocada na faixa para encerrar o album debut do HY!PER.
